Frequently Asked Questions
We take pride in having transparency about our operations and our services because you are trusting us to come into your home and with your pet's needs. If you do not see the answer to your question here, please send us an email so we may answer it!
Where is your location?
Your home! We are a mobile veterinary nursing company. All services we provide to your pets are in your own home. They never have to leave their environment. You don't have to wrangle them up into the car or have long waits for them to be taken care of by a veterinary technician at the veterinary clinic.
How does your pricing work?
Each service has a set price. Depending on how many miles you are from our base location (Bradfordville area), determines the travel fee which is in addition to the service price. The travel fee is $2.5/mile outside of our service area. We have discounted services for additional pets since we are making one trip for the whole house!
What are your qualifications?
Kadee is a Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of Florida. She has a degree in veterinary technology from an AVMA accredited program. She passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam, giving her a state license to perform nursing services that a non-credentialed technician cannot. Continuing education is required to renew her license every two years to keep up with current veterinary medicine standards. She is NOT a veterinarian and cannot legally diagnose, prescribe, prognose, perform surgery or euthanasia.
How do TPS and my veterinarian work together?
Trusted Pet Services can perform most services without a recommendation from your veterinarian. On the occasion that your pet is in need of medical services such as fluid administration, medication administration (IV, IM, etc..), or a medical pet sitting, we will require that your veterinarian have a written recommendation or prescription for this service. This is purely for legal reasons to ensure the medical care we provide while under the indirect supervision of a veterinarian is of the utmost accuracy.
